When renting a self-service motorcycle, especially in a train station parking lot, it's normal to have questions.

Is the motorcycle parked outside? Is it really being tracked? Is it checked between customers?

At Good Motors, we prefer to explain things simply, without unnecessary sales talk.

Today, more than 7,000 customers have already ridden our motorcycles, and our service has an average rating of 4.87/5 based on more than 500 reviews.

These figures are no coincidence: they are based on a very concrete organization focused on motorcycle maintenance and monitoring.

Where are the motorcycles stored? Good Motors

Our motorcycles are parked in station and airport parking lots, but only in covered and secure parking lots.

In concrete terms:

  • they don't sleep outside
  • they are protected from rain and moisture
  • they are not subject to daily weather variations

A motorcycle stored in a covered parking lot is better protected than one parked on the street, exposed to the elements, humidity, and temperature fluctuations.

More frequent maintenance than specified in the manufacturer's manual

The maintenance logs are intended for personal use.

Renting requires much more vigilance.

At Good Motors, we don't just stick to the manufacturer's deadlines.

Actual frequency of inspections

In the off-season

  • → complete check at least once a week

During peak season

  • → Full inspection at least twice a week

Even if the motorcycle hasn't been ridden much.

What we actually do during these checks

Each inspection includes, in particular:

  • checking and topping up oil if necessary
  • chain lubrication
  • chain tension control
  • checking the condition and pressure of tires
  • brake check (levers, pads, feel)
  • lights and turn signals
  • general visual inspection

If any item is not compliant, the motorcycle is blocked and cannot be rented again.

On-site mechanics, not remote ones

In every city, we work with mechanics.

They intervene:

  • regularly on site
  • to check the motorcycles
  • to diagnose mechanical issues
  • to respond quickly if necessary

The advantage is simple:

No waiting, no motorcycles that "still run a little," no compromises.

An inspection between each rental, without exception

Between customers, the motorcycle is systematically checked.

There are two levels of control:

On site

  • checking the overall condition of the motorcycle
  • test ride to improve control

Through our after-sales service

  • analysis of return photos
  • cleanliness check
  • confirmation that the motorcycle can be restarted immediately

A dirty, questionable, or damaged motorcycle is never rented out to the next customer.

Partner garages and dealerships for more extensive maintenance

For servicing, tires, brakes, or more extensive work, we work with partner motorcycle repair shops and dealerships.

These garages provide:

  • regular reviews
  • replacement of wear parts
  • heavier mechanical operations

This allows you to keep:

  • professional monitoring
  • clean and documented interventions
  • consistent quality, city by city

Why this level of monitoring is essential in self-service

Self-service does not mean less control.

It's actually the opposite.

Because the customer picks up the motorcycle on their own, everything must be ready beforehand:

  • mechanically
  • visually
  • in terms of safety

It is this rigor that explains why:

  • more than 7,000 customers have already placed their trust in us
  • our average rating is 4.87/5 based on over 500 reviews
  • Many customers return to rent from us.

Rent a motorcycle with Good Motors

When you rent a motorcycle from Good Motors :

  • it is stored in a safe place
  • it is checked several times a week
  • it is checked between each rental
  • she is followed by mechanics
  • it's ready to go, with no nasty surprises

We do not promise perfection; we simply implement serious, consistent, and verifiable methods.
